At Covenant Retirement Communities, we trace our roots to 1886 and the first outreach of our ministry parent, the Evangelical Covenant Church, our assisted living residence in downtown Chicago, is a direct descendant of the church’s first ministry outreach.
Century-spanning commitment

Our dedication to innovation began in 1886 with our first community and our revolutionary introduction of continuing care. Today that dedication continues, fueled by constant improvement at our communities.
We accelerate our innovation by judiciously tapping the expertise of partners. By partnering with Sodexho, for example, we expanded dining opportunities at our communities and enhanced service while reducing expenses. By affiliating with United Methodist Homes & Services in Chicago, we created Covenant Methodist Senior Services, Chicago’s most comprehensive continuum of services for older adults.
